The Main Screen

 The Caranba Bible Encyclopedia app is not only a bible app, but it is about the people, places, events, and time periods of the bible. The Caranba Bible Encyclopedia empowers users the ability to search for any person, any place, an event, and an event time period with respect to the bible.

Upon app launch the user will encounter the main screen with the Home tab selected waiting for the encyclopedia data to finish loading. This could take no more than several seconds. Other tabs of the main screen include People, Places, Events, and Periods.

In the Home tab the user can do a general search for either a person, place, event, or time period related to the Bible. 

Similarly, the user can make more specific searches for a person in the bible in the Peoples tab, a place in the bible in the Places tab, an event in the bible in the Events tab, and a Time Period related to the bible in the Periods tab.

The real benefit of this for the user is once the user has found the person, place, event, or time-period searched for, the user can select it, and the details of what was selected is displayed to the user.  The details given provides information; some more information, and other less information, depending on how much is known concerning the person, place, or event.

The information given concerning a person includes:

• The birth and death year
• The birth and death place
• A bio description of the person
• The person's relationships
• The places the person sojourned to
• The events in the bible the person is found
• The scripture verses that references the person

The information given concerning a place includes:

• A map marker location of the place
• A description of the place
• The people in the bible found at the place
• The events that occurred at the place
• The time periods about the place as referenced in the bible
• The scripture verses that references the place

The information given concerning an event includes:

• List of map marker places with user interactivity
• The time period of the event
• The event duration
• The time elapsed prior to the event
• The people involved in the event
• The event that preceded the said event
• The scripture references that speak to the event

The information given concerning the time period:

• List of map markers places with user interactivity
• The people born at this time period
• The people died at this time period
• The people involved during this time period
• The events occurred during this time period
